An 82-year-old man from Madurai on Monday donated his entire life savings and pledged his body to medical research during the district’s public grievance redress meeting. In addition, the octogenarian also submitted a declaration expressing his desire to donate his body to a government.

  • Subbiah, a resident of Harvey Nagar in Tirupparankundram, presented a cheque for ₹10,000 toward the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund to Madurai District Collector Nishant Krishna on Monday.
