Actor-vlogger Ashish Vidyarthi and his wife Rupali Baruah were injured when a motorcycle hit them as they were crossing a street in the Zoo Tiniali area of Guwahati on Friday night (January 2, 2026).
In a social media post, Mr. Vidyarthi said he received minor injuries, and his wife was under observation. “Both of us are fine,” he said.
Locals who alerted the police said the biker was seriously injured after his motorcycle hit the couple. The biker was rushed to the Gauhati Medical College Hospital for treatment.
A popular actor in Hindi and regional films, specifically in southern India, Mr. Vidyarthi has been popular as a food and travel vlogger.
