Cara Delevingne hopped on Instagram’s ongoing 2016 trend, sharing a post of unseen videos from that year. The model generously tucked in a clip of her and Taylor Swift playfully showcasing Swift’s cat-adorned vest and calling it “fashion.” The cute moment offered a rare glimpse of Swift off-duty—and a fresh look at her dynamic with Delevingne.

That year, the British model was among the guests at Swift’s famous Fourth of July party. In 2024, Delevingne revealed that she secretly lived with Swift at one point, though she didn’t specify when.

“I was going through a really horrible breakup, and she let me live with her,” the model told Nikki Glaser for Interview. “We’re very different people. She’s very homely, because she looked after me so well, but we got into some—not trouble, but I definitely took her for a bit of a wild ride. Just to get her to blush would be great.”

She teased that she could roast Swift after that experience—but that the singer could easily return the gesture. “The thing about Taylor, though, is I’ve seen her do a speech at someone’s wedding before, and it was a roast,” Delevingne recalled. “She’s one of the funniest, most clever people. Anyone could roast her easily, but at the same time, she could fuck everyone up so hard.”

Delevingne and Swift have kept most of their friendship private, but the model was an early supporter of Swift’s romance with her now-fiancé, Travis Kelce. In November 2023—just months after Swift went public with Kelce that September—Delevingne told E! News, “I’m so, so happy for her. There’s definitely something very different about them.” She added, “I’m always rooting for my girl.”
