Sonibala Devi, IFS, VC & MD of SATG, began with representatives from the athletics, cycling, archery, gymnastics, badminton and mallakhamb, gatka, kaliyaripattu associations to formulate a comprehensive roadmap for identifying and training Telangana’s most promising athletes. The discussions focused on finalising a structured three-phase.
What Happened
Officials reviewed the timelines, duration of each phase and the sport-specific infrastructure, equipment and coaching support required to ensure athletes receive quality training well ahead of the Games. Sonibala Devi said SATG was committed to identifying talented young athletes and providing them.
Among those present were SATG Deputy Directors Ravinder, Srinivas, Ashok, Telangana Olympic Association Secretary P.
Further consultations with other state sports associations will be held in the coming weeks as preparations for the Khelo India Youth Games gather pace.
The consultations form part of SATG’s broader strategy to develop a sport-wise preparation framework based on medal potential.
