Selena Gomez Posted Photos With Benny Blanco—and He Had a Romantic 2-Word Response

Selena Gomez felt like reminiscing on Instagram yesterday, sharing a carousel full of random photos from various points in time. She tucked in two shots of her and her husband, Benny Blanco—and the music producer took notice. He left a two-word comment on his wife’s post, sharing his adoration for her. “My angel,” he wrote.

The social media exchange marks a sweet public display of the newlyweds’ dynamic. Neither has been shy about how deeply they love the other. Last January, Blanco told Interview that words weren’t enough to express his feelings for Gomez.

“I remember before I was with her, I was like, ‘You know what? I’m going to stop everything I’m doing and just focus all my energy on being a grownup and being with the right person,’” he recalled. “Now I worship the ground she walks on, and I feel like she’s the same way to me. There’s no ego between us. She’s praying for me to win, and I’m praying for her to win. And I wake up in the morning—I know she does the same thing—and I’m like, ‘How can I make her life better?’ Holding her isn’t close enough. I want to be inside of her whole body. I just feel a thing for her that I can’t even explain.”

Blanco recently drew attention for the grand gesture he did for the couple’s first married Valentine’s Day. He put together a romantic backyard dinner complete with roses, hot dogs, and “love is love”-adorned plates.

Gomez spoke in November about married life, telling Zane Lowe it “has been such a dream so far, and I know it will come with ebbs and flows, but [Blanco’s] the most beautiful person I could do that with.”
