Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Hold Hands in Photos From Their First Public Date of 2026

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce just had their first public date of the year in Los Angeles—though not at the Golden Globes. The couple was photographed having dinner at Funke in Beverly Hills Monday evening. Swift wore a gray blazer and a white skirt, while Kelce was in a brown top and lighter pants. They held hands in one shot:

Kelce may be in L.A. for business. On January 8, a source told Us Weekly that the Kansas City Chiefs tight end is in talks with Netflix to “serve as their exclusive broadcast sports correspondent.” Kelce hasn’t announced whether he is retiring from the NFL, but he spoke on last week’s New Heights about taking time “to figure out what I’m gonna do next in terms of my future in football.”

“I’ve talked to a few people in the facility already, having the exit meetings and everything, and they know where I stand, at least right now,” he continued. “There’s a lot of love for the game that’s still there, and I don’t think I’ll ever lose that.”

Swift has kept her own next project private as well. In 2022, Searchlight Pictures announced that Swift would direct her first feature film with the company, but no updates have been shared since.

On December 16, a source told Us Weekly that the singer “always has ideas percolating,” about her music career but isn’t about to announce another tour for The Life of a Showgirl. “Right now, she is enjoying her break.”

Swift and Kelce are also planning their wedding, the insider added: “Taylor thinks it’s cute [Travis is helping], and it’s something they have been bonding over.”
