Timothée Chalamet Soft-Launches His Kylie Jenner Romance on Instagram
The tribute comes shortly after Jenner subtly posted about Chalamet on her own account.
Hours after Kylie Jenner found a way to celebrate Timothée Chalamet’s Golden Globes win on Instagram without posting a photo of him, Chalamet went one step further, soft-launching his romance with Jenner on his own account. The Marty Supreme actor posted a photo of himself with his first Golden Globe, which he and Jenner are holding up. Only Jenner’s hand is visible in the shot:
Jenner and Chalamet have been dating for three years but, until now, have kept their relationship off social media. They have also largely avoided speaking about it in interviews. In her ELLE November 2024 cover story, Jenner explained why she doesn’t discuss Chalamet or her private life with the press. “I think it’s important to keep things to yourself,” she said. “It’s hard for me to make a decision by myself sometimes, so the opinion of the whole world…it can be tough.”
The couple has been very visible this awards season, though, with Jenner joining Chalamet at the Palm Springs International Film Festival, the Critics Choice Awards, and the Golden Globes.
Chalamet paid tribute to Jenner in both his best actor acceptance speeches at the Critics Choice Awards and Golden Globes. He gave his most extended remarks about her in his Critics Choice speech, telling the crowd, “And lastly, I’ll just say thank you to my partner of three years. Thank you for our foundation. I love you. I couldn’t do this without you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
Jenner appeared emotional as she watched, mouthing the words “I love you” back to him.
