Vibe Coding is positioned as a productivity tool for small scripts, file renaming, data conversion, prototypes, parsers, graphical interfaces, documentation, recurring functions and other implementation work. It is not presented as a substitute for system understanding or engineering judgment.

What Happened

The distinction becomes decisive when software interacts with SSDs, operating systems, file systems, I/O behavior, thermal interface materials, spatial temperature fields, audio signals or other real-world systems. In these areas, the difficult question is not merely whether code runs.
