Ex-Prince Andrew’s Disgraceful Arrest Becomes Historical Monument In Paris: 'He's Sweating Now'

Former Prince Andrew’s shocking arrest has continued to spark reactions from people both online and offline. 

In a recent move, a picture of the exiled royal was placed as an artwork in Paris by activists who publicly mocked him.

Andrew was arrested on his 66th birthday, after new discoveries about the ties between him and the late disgraced sex convict, Jeffrey Epstein.

In a video posted on TikTok, an activist could be seen walking into the Louvre in Paris and hanging a framed photograph of the disgraced prince.

The image was taken following his release from custody, in the Aylsham Police Station in Norfolk, after 11 hours, per People Magazine.

The photograph, which has gone viral, showed Andrew looking visibly distressed through the windshield of a car. Underneath the photograph were the words, “He’s sweating now, 2026,” referencing the former Prince’s claims about not sweating. 

Several fans online had hilarious reactions to the fake artwork, with many further mocking the disgraced royal. 

One fan wrote, “The one exhibit in the museum that no one will want to steal,” and another wrote, “I want to see it in the National Portrait Gallery in London between Charles and the Queen.” 

In the same vein, another fan commented, “Move over, Mona Lisa, you have no competition.” 

The Former Prince Was Recently Arrested

Fans may recall that Andrew was arrested on suspicion of misconduct while in office. 

The Blast confirmed that the former prince was taken into custody on his 66th birthday after information in the Epstein files pointed to suspicious activities while he was a trade envoy. As such, the police got involved to investigate the alleged exchange of documents. 

Although the police didn’t release an official statement confirming the arrest, the report noted that searches were carried out at addresses in Norfolk and Berkshire

Andrew’s Disgraceful Arrest May Have Been An Indication Of More Trouble

After Andrew’s arrest, former Met Police Chief Superintendent Dal Babu revealed that the police must have carefully considered the situation before making the decision to bring him into custody.

Babu explained that they couldn’t have done that without having some concrete evidence on the ground. 

“You don't have to arrest somebody you are investigating... so to actually arrest would suggest there is significant evidence,” he said, as The Blast reported.

He also noted that the former prince would likely be subjected to intense questioning and interrogation before being released. 

What King Charles Said About Ex-Prince Andrew’s Arrest

Following Andrew’s arrest, his brother King Charles made it clear that the royal family would allow justice to fully run its course without interference.

The monarch noted that although he learned of the arrest with the “deepest of concerns,” the family would happily support the investigators.

“What now follows is the full, fair and proper process by which this issue is investigated in the appropriate manner and by the appropriate authorities,” the statement read, per The Blast. 

The King noted that the “law must take its course” and promised that the royal family would continue in its duty to everyone. 

Andrew’s Arrest Led To A Shocking Realization For Princess Beatrice And Eugenie

King Charles wasn’t the only royal who had something to say about the arrest.

According to The Blast, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, daughters of the disgraced former prince, reportedly felt betrayed by their father’s actions.

“They're also putting pieces of the puzzle together in real time and realizing they may have been used. That has to feel like a complete betrayal. They're heartbroken,” an insider shared.

The insider also revealed that despite the uncomfortable situation, the ladies still had love for their parents because they cannot just turn off their emotions at will. 

“It's an incredibly painful and introspective moment for them,” the source added. 

At the end of the day, Princess Beatrice and Eugenie decided to stay away from the situation in a bid to shield their children from the unfortunate events. The insider shared that their focus is on protecting their “young children,” despite the fact that Andrew is their grandfather.
