Ray J has found himself back at the center of trouble with law enforcement, and this time, police reportedly swarmed the reality star’s home.

Los Angeles police reportedly surrounded Ray J’s home after a domestic violence incident over the weekend involving the former “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” star and an ex-girlfriend.

Police Recently Swarmed Ray J’s Los Angeles Home Due To Reported Domestic Violence Incident

According to TMZ, over the weekend, Los Angeles police swarmed Ray J’s home after a call was placed to authorities regarding an alleged domestic violence incident.

The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) reportedly told the outlet that law enforcement received a call from Ray J’s residence on Saturday, February 21, at 2 a.m. local time for a report of battery domestic violence.

The call was said to be placed from inside Ray J’s residence, but it’s unclear who made the call. The suspect was believed to be an ex-girlfriend of Ray J’s, described as a 30-year-old Persian woman, although the details of what allegedly occurred were not made clear.

Per TMZ, once the LAPD arrived at Ray J’s home, neither he nor the suspected woman was willing to speak to the police.

Since no statements from either party were made, police cleared the scene, no arrests were made, and no police report was filed. It's unclear who initially contacted cops or what prompted the domestic violence call.

Ray J Was Previously Arrested For A Domestic Violence Incident In November 2025

On Thanksgiving 2025, Ray J reportedly got into an altercation with his estranged wife and the mother of his two children, Princess Love, which allegedly resulted in him pulling a gun on her as he captured the incident on livestream.

Per TMZ, at one point during the livestream, Ray J could be seen snatching a gun off the table and loading it. He was also heard yelling at someone off-screen, ordering them to get out of the house and accusing them of "trespassing."

The incident continued to escalate, as Princess, through tears, accused Ray J of pointing a gun at her before she told him that she was taking their children and leaving.

Ray J also threatened a man during the livestreamed altercation, specifically telling the man, "I'll shoot the f-ck out of you."

More threats followed off-camera, with the singer saying, "I'll kill you," and "Get out of my house before I shoot you right now. I got a gun on me."

Authorities arrived at the scene around 4 a.m. local time, and Princess spoke with one of the officers about the incident. Ray J was arrested shortly after.

In January, Ray J previously shared that doctors claimed they did not know how long he had to live and placed him on multiple drugs in an attempt to prolong his life, and he was placed on drugs to combat heart failure.

The reality star added that doctors told him to prepare for the possibility of using a pacemaker or defibrillator, and ordered him not to drink or use drugs.

In his social media update, Ray J claimed that he nearly lost his life following the health scare. "My heart's only beating 25 percent, but as long as I stay focused and stay on the right path, everything will be all right," he said at the time.

He shared more details in an Instagram Live session, noting he might not live long enough to see 2027, per his doctors.

Ray J sounded regretful about the way he had lived his life thus far, admitting, "I shouldn't have went this hard, bro." He noted that he had to ensure the financial stability of his baby mama and children, adding that he wished to be cremated and not buried.

Fans Accuse Ray J Of Using Alleged Health Issues For Sympathy And Attention

Ray J's video announcing his alleged health issues quickly circulated online and sparked a range of opinions, with many believing that the singer was exaggerating or flat-out lying to gain sympathy and attention.

On Instagram, one user theorized that Ray J was "high" when he shared the news, calling him "diabolical." Another user argued Ray J's video was a "cry out for help."

A third social media user slammed Ray J for mentioning traveling to Haiti to seek healing.

"Please stop using my country’s name as a punchline for nonsense. This has gone beyond unacceptable. You have the resources to seek real healing, consult a holistic doctor, cleanse yourself properly, and reconnect with God," they said.

On Reddit, users voiced similar reactions, with one asking whether the father of two's confession was a "sympathy ploy since he was arrested on Thanksgiving, I think for threatening his kids' mom with a gun?"

One user showed genuine concern for the singer, asking, "How much was he abusing?" They added, "It takes a lot of alcohol, like top-tier, to affect your heart."

A Valentine’s Day Performance With Fake Blood Sparked Even More Questions About His Health

During a Valentine’s Day concert in Louisiana, Ray J performed with what appeared to be blood streaming from his eyes and a medical monitor strapped to his chest, igniting intense speculation about his health and state of mind.

Video compilations shared online show Ray J handing roses to audience members while wearing dark sunglasses. Beneath them, red streaks were visible, trailing down from one eye.

As the show continued, he removed his orange shirt, revealing a medical monitor taped to his chest.

In another clip, Ray J lifted his sunglasses, exposing what looked like blood under both eyes. A later photo showed him shirtless beside a fan, with visible red stains near the chest device.

However, shortly after, a photographer who was working at the show revealed that the blood underneath Ray J’s eye was fake.

Photographer Tommy Nard II, who was backstage at the show, called out Ray J for allegedly using fake blood. Per KTAL 6, Nard said, "He loves the camera. He loves the attention. Anybody that knows him, it’s all theatrical. I'm behind the scenes, like, 'What are you doing?'"

Nard continued, adding, "I seen him literally put on the fake blood and things like that, and go out there with the crowd, which is very shocking that he’d do something like that."
