Playfeels Redefines Parenting Through Play: Expert-Backed Tools Reimagined as Toys

Miami, FL — Playfeels is a recently launched, Latina mom–founded parenting brand redefining how families navigate early childhood through play. Created by entrepreneurs and mothers Melanie Zaid and Melissa Nebot, Playfeels introduces expert-backed parenting tools reimagined as playful toys, designed to support children’s emotional development while easing everyday parenting challenges.

Playfeels was born out of the founders’ shared frustration with the overwhelming — and often contradictory — amount of parenting advice available online, much of it lacking practical, hands-on solutions. As Latina moms raising children in today’s fast-paced world, they set out to create tools that feel grounded, trustworthy, and easy to use — while actively engaging children in the process.

Built at the intersection of science and real-life parenting, Playfeels transforms proven parenting strategies, developed alongside child development experts, into Playkits that families can use right away. The brand focuses on key emotional milestones and situations where many parents feel stuck, such as when children begin testing limits, navigating big emotions, starting school, or adjusting to the arrival of a new sibling.

Playfeels recently launched its first Playkit, centered on connection and cooperation, designed to ease power struggles and support children as they begin testing limits. Grounded in a core principle of child development that connection comes first so positive behavior can follow. The brand is set to launch its second Playkit, focused on big feelings, in April.

“Playfeels exists to bridge the gap between expert-backed tools and real-life, day-to-day parenting challenges — making emotional learning easier to apply,” said Melanie Zaid, co-founder.
