Organised by the HackerRank Campus Crew at Vasavi College of Engineering, the hackathon brought together 40 teams, with two to four members in each team. The event was conducted under the coordination of K Lohitha Reddy and V Krishna Mohan, Faculty Coordinators.
The participants were challenged to develop a Smart Campus Multi-Agent AI System capable of addressing complex campus-related requirements through collaboration between multiple specialised AI agents. The problem statement encouraged teams to move beyond conventional chatbots and demonstrate capabilities including autonomous planning, multi-agent collaboration, retrieval-augmented.
What Happened
Students from diverse disciplines, including Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Cyber Security and other engineering streams, participated in the hackathon.
